Job Description
- Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
- Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration
- Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower and time necessary
- Provide clear goals for all areas of a project and develop steps to oversee their timely execution
- Enhance and develop secure and cost effective infrastructure.
- Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide
- Work alongside delivery manager to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of work experience as an DevOps Engineer
- Most have experience with AWS and expert knowledge in CI/CD
- Experience developing engineering solutions for a large corporation
- Knowledge of micro-services architecture
- Ability to cope with the latest technology and provide knowledge transfer sessions to team members.
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Advanced education and application of business analysis techniques and strategy
- Experience working together with development teams to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
- Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications
- Professional work experience in team building and project organization
- Knowledge of tools like liquibase, sonarqube, jenkins.
- Knowledge of data pipelining process, javascript and PHP language is a plus point
- Should be able to understand business needs and design solution accordingly
- Should be able to work and setup openvpn in an existing application.
- Not sticking with a known solution, ability to design solution based on custom needs
- High motivation, empathy, high interpersonal skills is most
