Job Description


  1. Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for software products, APIs, and other technical assets.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  3. Create user manuals, installation guides, and online help documentation to assist end-users in effectively utilizing our software products.
  4. Produce well-organized and detailed documentation for application programming interfaces (APIs) to facilitate integration by third-party developers.
  5. Prepare release notes for software updates, ensuring that new features, enhancements, and bug fixes are clearly communicated to users.
  6. Maintain and organize a knowledge base to serve as a central repository for technical documentation and best practices.
  7. Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to established style guides.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, software developments, and user feedback to continuously improve documentation quality and effectiveness.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communication, Computer Science, Software Engineering).
  2. 3+ years as technical writer in a software development or other technical company.
  3. Proven experience as a technical writer in a software development environment.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  5. Strong understanding of software development concepts, processes, and technologies.
  6. Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown, LaTeX, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
